Greetings from the Inwa School's 7th Class, 2023 - 2026
These students are seeking a path to a better future, in a time of severe disruption.
Your donation means they can learn the skills to build an arts career, and uphold deep and meaningful cultural traditions in Myanmar. See what that means at Why We Need an Arts School.
Please help us add more students next year!
Thank You
Traditional arts are a common thread through history, and a vital form of cultural expression.
Inwa School was honored to receive U.S. Ambassador Scot Marciel, shown here in 2017 with co-founder Aung Kyaw Tun and master teacher U Kyaw Win. Students gave a brilliant performance. Since the 2021 coup, diplomacy is at an ebb and many voices go unheard.
In this context, it is all the more important to retain the ancient stories, rites, and ceremonies that uphold Myanmar dignity and spirit.
